Book-Club

Through the School Reformer Teacher Exchange Programme, schools can host guest teachers from other institutions for a term. These visiting educators bring innovative methods, share best practices, and inspire both students and staff with different approaches to teaching and learning.

By participating, your school not only benefits from the insights of guest teachers but also offers your own teachers the opportunity to experience new classrooms and grow through collaboration.

Writing-workshop

School Reformer connects you with experienced educators from India and the UK who can serve as part-time or full-time consultants. They help upgrade teaching standards, redesign curriculum, strengthen leadership, and improve learning outcomes. About Us

School Reformer brings together teachers, school leaders, university experts, education service providers, and role models through online meetings and discussions — with the goal of transforming education in India.

The initiative has a half-century of pedigree. It began as a school newsletter in 1962 at the International School in Pichanur village, Coimbatore district, founded by Shri V. Isvarmurti, a Santiniketan and Oxford graduate. The experimental school attracted global visitors, including Peace Corps volunteers.

Though the physical school no longer exists, the newsletter lived on. In the 1990s it grew into a national print magazine (School Journal of Education) and later into the website India School News.

Today, School Reformer continues this tradition as an online platform for dialogue, fresh ideas, and reform in education.

The Managing Editor is Kartik Isvarmurti, graduate of the Delhi School of Economics and the University of Oxford.
